Robert Gaskamp began his law enforcement career in 1985 and he retired from the FBI in 2019. He has served as a rural sheriff's deputy, a major metropolitan police officer, an FBI Agent in Selma, Alabama, Brownsville, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Farmington, New Mexico, Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Bryan/College Station, Texas. He has also been assigned to the FBI/CIA National Counterterrorism Center and the FBI Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG), Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU-1). Upon retirement from the FBI, he accepted his current position as Corporate Security Director for a group of family-owned corporations in the energy sector, financial sector, transportation sector, agriculture sector and recreation sector. The corporations have assets in ten states. Robert and his wife, Monica, live in Casper, Wyoming and have a dau ghter who lives in Texas. |
