Recognition Awards
The CyberCon Planning Committee is excited to offer two awards again for 2025 - the CyberCon hall of fame and the Chairman's Award for Excellence.
The CyberCon hall of fame was new for 2024. This award is presented for distinguished service to the cybersecurity and/or critical infrastructure profession. The recipient should demonstrate continuous personal improvement throughout their service to the profession and inspire the future workforce. This is a “whole of person” award, and is intended for someone who demonstrates integrity, selflessness, and servant leadership.

CyberCon Chairman’s Award for Excellence
The Chairman’s Award for Excellence recognizes organizations, teams or individuals that have significantly contributed to the overall physical or cyber security of the region’s critical infrastructure or citizens.
The recipient of the Chairman's Award should be someone that:
- Implements initiatives that advance whole-of-community security (CS) or critical infrastructure (CI)
- Displays innovation in CS and CI
- Provides leadership towards the advancement of safety, CI and CS
- Encourages and enhances opportunities for future CS and CI professionals
Nominations:
Anyone may submit a nominee for the Chairman’s Award for Excellence, but they must be active within the CyberCon community. Nominations must be submitted no later than August 29, to be awarded for the 2025 conference. Nominations submitted after that time may still be evaluated for inclusion or be reevaluated the following year.
