Uriah Burchinal, ESRI
Chief Risk Whisperer. Vendor Wrangler. Recovering Spreadsheet Survivor. Uriah Burchinal comes to you straight from the tangled trails of the Voserverse, where vendor risk was once feared, misunderstood, and filed in triplicate. With decades of experience battling bad practices, building resilient programs, and turning risk chaos into strategic calm, Uriah has become a champion of clarity in a world full of forms. He’s led third-party risk programs for global organizations, wrangled SOC 2s from reluctant vendors, and even convinced a few Vosers to retire their 300-question Excel audits. When he’s not coaching teams on how to escape the Land of Auditton-on-Tick, Uriah can be found crafting heroic security stories (sometimes in rhyme), mentoring the next generation of risk defenders, and proving that TPRM can be effective and delightful.
